Mohare Danda Ghandruk Trek in Nepal is an off the beaten trek which is lied inside the stunning Annapurna region of western Nepal. It is a community trek in Annapurna region, so we stay in tea house lodges operated by the local community in most places during the trek. Mohare Danda Trek provides experience of non touristic Nepal.

It is a great alternative to classical but crowded treks in Annapurna region. Nepal Mohare Danda trek provides trekkers with a taste of more off beaten trails. The mountain views from Mohare Danda are superb including Mount Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fang and Nilgiri. And from Ghandruk we can see Mt. Machhapuchare also known as Fishtail and Mt. Hiunchuli.

Mohare Danda Ghandruk Trek starts from Kathmandu with scenic drive to Pokhara. The Actual trek starts either from Galeshwor and vice versa. Mohare Danda Ghandruk Trek is a 9 day itinerary. However, depending upon your time availability we can extend it to more days and even shorten it down if you have shortage of time. 

Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara(850, 6 hours)
After breakfast, we leave our hotel early morning for a drive with scenic views along the road to Pokhara via Prithivi national highway. The drive could take roughly 7-8 hrs to reach Pokhara. There is also an option for a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara for 35 minutes. We then do an overnight at our hotel by the lake in the lovely ‘city of lakes.
Day 2: Pokhara to Baskharka(1525m, 3 hours trek)
Drive to Galeshwor and uphill trek to Baskharka.After breakfast, we take three and half hours drive to Galeshwor along bank of Kali Gandai river and take 1 hour break for lunch. After lunch, we begin our hike to Bans Kharka. It is about 3 hours ascend trek by crossing suspension bridge over deepest gorge "Kali Gandaki river" through green forest. Overnight at community lodge.
Day 3: Trek to Nagi village(2300m, 6-7 hours)
Half day uphill trek and  gentle uphill forest walk. Day starts with hot breakfast and extends our trek to Nangi. It is about 6-7 hours walk from Bans Kharak which goes along beautiful villages, stunning views of  mountains and impressive landscapes. We also visit organic farm school and Magar settlement on this day. Stay night at eco community lodge.
Day 4: Trek to Mohare Danda(3300m, 7-8 hours)
Jungle walk. Today’s trail goes through beautiful forests of Oak and Rhododendrons with magnificent views of mountains such as Mt. Fishtail, south Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Tukche and many more. In the evening, we observe glorious sunset view from Mohare hill station and then overnight at eco community management lodge.
Day 5: Trek to Ghorepani(2800m, 5-6 hours) via Poonhill
Breakfast and trek uphill and downhill trek whole day in the jungle walk. Poon hill is the best view point of sunrise and the Annapurna Panorama. 
Day 6: Trek to Tadapani(2610m, 5-6 hours)
Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise and the Himalayan Panoram,  back down to Ghorepani to have breakfast and continue trek to Tadapani for 6 hours.
Day 7: Trek to Ghandruk(1900, 4-5 hours)
Breakfast with enjoying the close up view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Mount Fishtail, and short trek down to Ghandru, home to the Gurkha and also an old traditional Gurung village of Annapurna region. Walk around village in the afternoon.
Day 8: Ghandruk to Tolkha(1800m, 5-6 hours)
Breakfast and trek descends to Kimrong Khola and ascends to Landruk village and gentle flat walk to Tolkha for overnight stay.
Day 9: Tolkha to Pokhara(850m, 5-6 hours)
Breakfast and trek to Kade via Australian camp and drive back to Pokhara.
