10 days Tatopani Trekking in Nepal covers the best places of Annapurna foothills including Dhampus, Tolka, Jhinu, Pokhara, Tadapani, Ghorepani, Poonhill and Tatopani. Tatopani means hot water in Nepali is naturally come up hot Spring water, and good therapy to cure for skin diseases and rheumatism while dipping in natural hot spring.

Tatopani Hot Spring Trek is an easy colorful lower hill trek in Annapurna past through forest of bamboo, rhododendron, pine, moss and Gurung villages offers an excellent view of the Himalayas: Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Machhapuchhare. Tatopani Trek is some of the best trekking in Nepal for nature and mountain lovers. Anyone with good health can trek in Annapurna Tatopani loop trek because there is no risk of altitude sickness.

This is a moderate grade trek, walking for 6 to 7 hours each day over steep hilly terrain on usually rough trails but no real extremes of weather. You will also be facing high altitude air with low level of oxygen on some days and are therefore required to have a positive attitude and be physically fit.  Previous trekking experience is helpful.

You will get standard twin sharing hotel accommodation with breakfast in Kathmandu, Pokhara and lower part of the trek will be on twin-shared basis. Single supplement will be served on request and will an additional cost. You will get an authentic Nepalese food as well more common international cuisine like Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian and Nepali. Breakfast and dinner will be served from tea-houses menu where we spend the night and lunch will be served on the way to the next destination. All meals will be provided during trekking while only breakfast will be available while in Kathmandu and Pokhara. 

Autumn from Sept to Nov and Spring from March to May are the best time trekking in Tatopani Hot Spring. The weather is sunny and warm with outstanding views. If you wish to avoid crowds of trekkers, winter from Dec, Jan, Feb is the best option. However, the temperature during winter could be harsh for most guests. Tatopani Trekking in rainy season from June to Aug will be affected by rain but the Summer trek could be a boon for a keen botanist.

10 days Tatopani Hot Spring Trek is a moderate grade trek is suitable for passionate walkers who have the ability to walk at least 5-7 hours a day with a light day pack. If we are in excellent health with average physical fitness and have a positive attitude, self confidence and strong determination, we can accomplish this trek successfully. Exercising and jogging regularly for some weeks prior to the trek is a good idea to enhance your strength and stability. Past hiking experience would be an asset but no technical skill is required for this trip.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1300m)
Receive at kathmandu airport upon arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara (850m)
Drive or fly to Pokhara. Takes 6 hours drive by tourist bus or private vehicle and flight takes 30 minutes. Overnight at Pokhara Hotel.
Day 03: Pokhara- Tolka(1990m)
Drive to Phedi for an hour and trek to Dhampus and enjoy outstanding views as we ascend to the village of Dhampus, lunch at Dhampus and continue trek to Tolka.
Day 04: Tolka - Jhinu(1930m)
Breakfast and trek to Jhinu Danda. Today the trail undulates through giant rhododendron forests and orchid colonies to the pretty Gurung town of Kimche. See the Annapurna range and Machapuchare (the Fishtail). Glimpses of Lamjung Himal and the Manaslu range can also be seen further east. Lunch at Landruk and continue trek to Jhinu. In Jhinu. There is natural hot spring where trekkers cool off.
Day 05: Jhinu- Tadapani (2600)
Breakfast.Trek to Tadapani. From Jhinu, the trails ascends through rhododendron and oak Forestes and offer good views of snow capped Mountains trails.
Day 06: Tadapani – Ghorepani(2800m)
Breakfast.Trek to Deurali for 4 hours and Lunch in there and trek through the jungle to Ghorepani.
Day 07: Ghorepani - Poon hill - Tatopani
Early morning, Wake up call with tea/coffee and climb to Poon Hill(3195m) for an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. Many snow capped mouuntain peaks can be seen from Poon Hill. Return to guest house, breakfast and descend trek through the forests which contains many species of plants and villages to tatopani-Hot Spring, there are natural hot springs.
Day 08: Tatopani- Pokhara via Beni.
Breakfast and trek down to Beni, stopping for lunch at Ratopairo where you will see memorable views of hills & the river. Drive back to Pokhara from Beni. Free for shopping, boating on lake Fewa, Bicycle hire etc.
Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Early morning bus drive to Kathmandu, it takes for 6 hours drive.
Day 10: Kathmandu Airport
Final airport transfer to Kathmandu airport to get your flight back to home.

Trek Gear List: No need to bring unnecessary trekking equipments with you for trekking in Nepal. The following trekking equipments and gears are recommended before trekking in Nepal. Most of the trekking equipment what you will need can be rented or purchased  in Nepal either in Kathmandu or Pokhara at cheap price. We will help you with the necessary arrangements. Except your day pack all the luggage will be carried by porters. There is an allowance of 15kg per person. Additional personal items not needed for the trekking part of the trip can be stored in the storage room of hotel without extra cost.
