10 days Everest Base Camp Trek is a short trek to Everest Base Camp of Nepal without rest days. The Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar is the highest point of EBC trek. This is the shortest trek to Everest Base Camp/EBC Nepal. We walk along the bank of Dudh koshi river. Day 01:  Kathmandu – Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,562m, 35 min flight, 8 km, 3-4 hrs)
Transfer to domestic airport and fly to Lukla (2,780m/9,175ft) gateway to Everest Base Camp 35 minutes Trans Himalaya flight. Culminate dramatic landing on a hillside Lukla, introduce porters and downhill to beautiful Sherpa settlement Cheplung. The trail continues along the side of the Dudh Koshi valley before ascending to Ghat ((2,530m /8,350ft) trail climbs gently again about an hour to final destination Phakding.
Day 02: Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3,440 m, 10 km, 5-6 hrs treks)
Trek leads through a beautiful pine forest, along Dudh Koshi River crossing many suspension bridges via Sherpa villages Benkar, Chimoa, Monjo and Jorsole a national park permit check point with the tranquility view of glistering Mt. Thamserku (6,618 m) Trail continues through the Dudh Koshi riverbed to the confluence of Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi rivers. Trail climbs steadily crossing high Tenzing- Hilary suspension bridge. On the way inspiring glimpse of Mt. Everest right up next Nuptse- Lhotse ridge. About 3 hours ascend through the wonderful pine forest finally; reach a prosperous trading and administrative village Namche Bazar.
Day 03: Namche Bazzar - Tengboche (3,870m, 10km, 5-6 hrs)
After breakfast, our trail leads moderately flat with superb view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and close up view of Thamserku, Khangtaiga. The trail continues wild lives spot of musk deer (a herd of Himalayan Thar) colorful pheasant (Danphe, National bird) Trail descend to Dudh Koshi river where few lodges and series of picturesque water driven prayer wheels. Cross suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi River a steep climb through pine and juniper forest, walk about 2 hours bring you to Tenboche. The famous Tengoche Gompa (Tengboche Monastery) with the background view of Ama Dablam, Nupte, Mt. Everest and many more peaks. During October/November in full moon the colorful Mani Rimdu festival is held here with masked dancing and Tibetan opera in the monastery courtyard.
Day 04: Tengboche - Dingboche (4,360m, 5-6 hrs, 8km)
Today, our trail descends to Deboche a small village with Chortens and Mani stone walls and nun monastery. Cross suspension bridge over Imja Khola (Imja Strasm) and gradually ascend to Pangboche with the towering view of Ama Dablam (most beautiful mountain in Everest region) Trail follows upstream closer to Imja River fairly moderate up toward Imja valley. The trail fairly seen open to the confluence of Lobuche river and begin last part of the day to Dingboche the last Sherpa settlement with the beautiful terraced field enclosed by stone wall to avoid barley, buckwheat and potatoes from the cold wind and grazing animals.
Day 05: Dingboche – Lobuche (4,940m, 4-5 hrs, 7 km)
After breakfast, our trail climbs to ridge with the towering view of Tawache peak & Cholatse. Trail continues through the Yak grazing pasture to Dhukla (4620 /15158ft) crossing a wooden bridge on roaring stream. Trail leads steep up to gravely terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier for about one hour, then bears left to the group of memorialsto lost climbers and Sherpas, including Scott Fischer who died in the 1996, Everest disaster. This place has awesome view of Khumbutse (6623m), Lingtren (6697), Pumori (7145 m) and Mahalangur Himal.Everest is hidden behind the towering wall of Nuptse an Lhotse. Follow the valley upstream about an hour to Lobuche.
Day 06: Lobuche - Gorakshep (5,160m) - Everest Base Camp (5,364m) Gorakshep (7-8 hrs, 15 km)
Morning, our trek follows windy and rocky path with crest of north ridge to Everest along with Mt. Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, Nuptse, etc. Trail continues along side of Khumbu Glacier to Gorakshep. Check in to Hotel, Lunch and afternoon set out to visit world’s highest base camp Everest Base Camp. Base camp has no view of Mt. Everest but fantastic view of Khumbu Icefall and colorful camp site of Everest expedition during expedition season. Trek back to Gorakshep for overnight.
Day 07: Gorakshep - Kala Patthar (5,545m) - Pheriche (4,280m, 15km, 7-8 hrs)
A very early morning climb of 2-3 hours up Kala Patthar, behind the village, offers a sunrise awakening of the Himalayan chain. Drop back to Gorak Shep for breakfast, and then retrace your steps down to Lobuche. Return to the snout of the Khumbu glacier, dropping down the moraine and continuing on to the village of Pheriche for a lower and warmer night.
Day 08: Pheriche – Namche Bazaar (3,440m, 15km, 6-7 hrs)
Today’s trail gradually descends to Deboche before a mild rise through rhododendron forest to the hilltop village of Tengboche which has an important monastery and great views in all directions. A long descent, leads to Phunki Thenga (3,250m/10,663ft) on the Imja Khola: the trek’s lowest point north of Lukla. The path then climbs to Sanasa (where the trail forked to Gokyo) beyond which it broadens for the pleasant contour walk back to Namche Bazaar.
Day 09: Namche Bazaar – Lukla (2,642m, 18km, 6-7 hrs)
From Namche, the trail descends to more comfortable altitudes, passing through the friendly farming villages of Jorsale (where we exit the National Park), Monjo, Phakding, then crosses the suspension bridge at Thado Koshi before rising to Ghat and Cheplung. Round off the adventure with the final 700m, 35min ascent to Lukla: and say goodbye to your porters.
Day 10: Lukla – Kathmandu (1,300m, 35 min flight)
After an early breakfast, take the return flight to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel.

Trek Gear List: No need to bring unnecessary trekking equipment with you for trekking in Nepal. The following trekking equipment and gears are recommended before trekking in Nepal. Most of the trekking equipment what you will need can be rented or purchased  in Nepal either in Kathmandu or Pokhara at cheap price. We will help you with the necessary arrangements. Except your day pack all the luggage will be carried by porters. There is an allowance of 15 kg per person. Additional personal items not needed for the trekking part of the trip can be stored in the storage room of hotel without extra cost.
