Day 5: Namtso Lake to Xigatse (3900m, 490 km)
Drive to Xigatse, the second largest city of Tibet after Lhasa
where the important Tashilhumpo monastery are there. This monastery is the seat
of Panchen Lama. We drive to Xigatse via Yamdrok Lake and Gyantse. On the way
drive to Xigatse, we do visit Gyantse dzong and Kumbum monastery in Gyantse.
Day 6: Xigatse to
Lhasa (3600, 380 km)
Visit Tashilumpo monastry in Shigatse and sightseeing around
Xigatse and continue drive back to Lhasa. Free day in Lhasa for shopping in the
afternoon.
