Day 01: Arrive to Paro and drive to Thimpu, Bhutan.
Upon arrival at Paro airport, your Bhutan tour guide will receive you there and drive to Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan. En route, we pass the Tamchog Lhakhang iron bridge. After check in hotel and in the afternoon, we visit the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma Statue,Takin Sanctuary, Zilukha Nunnery and Thimphu Dzong, a Buddhist monastery and fortress.
Day 02: Thimphu to Paro
Thimpu Tour visit the Folk Heritage Museum and the National Painting School. In the afternoon, we will drive to Paro, where a local farm house visit is scheduled for you.
Day 03: Paro to Taktsang Monastery
After breakfast, we'll hike up to Taktsang monastry, an important Buddhist religious site and temple complex perched on the edge of upper Paro Valley. It is also known as the Tiger's Nest. The spectacular view along the way and the historical sites draw many tourists to this imposing monastery. There are also a number of temples scattered along the route. Later we'll turn to the Paro Dzong, a large Buddhist monastery and fortress, which is considered the best example of Bhutanese architecture. Now it also houses the district Monastic Body and government administrative offices. On the hill above the Dzong stands an ancient watchtower called Ta Dzong, which is also the National Museum of Bhutan.
Day 04: Paro to Kathmandu
