Samye was the first monastery built in Tibet. Its history dates back 1200 years. It can only be reached after an hour long river crossing by boat and then a 40 minute Jeep or minibus ride on a bumpy sandy road with spectacular views.

Day 01:
Fly to Gangor Airport and Drive to Tsetang. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 :
Drive to Samye. Overnight at guest house.

Day 03 :
Drive to Lhasa. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 :
Visit Potala Palace /Sera Monastery Nylam- Lhatse. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 :
Visit Drepung , Jokhang and Norbu Linka. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 :
Lhasa - to Gantse visit Palkhor Monastery, Stupa. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 :
Gantse to Sigatse visit Tashilunpo Monastery. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 :
Sigatse to Tingri. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 :
Drive to Nylam. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 :
Drive back to Kathmandu via Kodari.
