This trek includes the visits to Namche and Tengpoche and adds an incredible hike to Gokyo lake. This trek gives you plenty of beautiful views of Everest and other nearby giants. The Gokyo lake area is surrounded by mountainous valleys, alpine lakes, and numerous glaciers. This trek is less crowded than others in the Everest region and takes 12 /14days to complete including travel to and from Kathmandu. This moderate to difficult trek reaches a high of 5000 meters. To top off this unique trek we climb Gokyo Ri(5360m) for a panoramic view of the greatest mountain scenery in the world including five giants and myrid other peaks of the Khumbu Himal.

Gokyo Lake Trekking Itinerary

Day 01 : Fly to Lukla (2840m)) and a short trek (2/3 hours) Trek to Phakding (2610m). The flight into Lukla is similar to the Everest View flight for views and beauty.

Day 02 : Trek to Namche Bazzar(3460m):-The trail climbs gradually following the river and enters the Everest National Park at Jorsalle, then crosses the river and climbs Steeply to Namche (3460m). (6/7 hours).

Day 03 : Rest day in Namche bazzar:- Namche is capital of the Khumbu region and offers many ways to spend a day. One can hike up to Everest view Hotel.

Day 04 : Trek to Dole(4000m):- The Trail goes to Nepali flat for nearly one and half hours and then goes steep uphill to Dole.

Day 05 : Trek to Machhermo(4470m):- The trek goes for 5/6 hours steep uphill to Machhermo.

Day 06 : Trek to Gokyo (4470 meters):- 5/6 hours walking to Gokyo.

Day 07 : Rest Day:-Gokyo Ri expedition.

Day 08 : Trek back to Machhermo:-The trek goes all the way down hill. It takes 5/6 hours to Machhermo.

Day 09 : Trek to Dole:- Nearly 5/6 hours walking down hill.

Day 10 : Trek down to Namche:-6.30 hours walking down.

Day 11 : Trek to Phakding:- 4/5 hours trek down.

Day 12 : Trek to Lukla

Day 13 : Fly back to Kathmandu and free day.
