Everest Base Camp Trek |
|
This trek is suitable for those who do
not have much time to spend but a
burning desire to observe the beauty of
Mt. Everest closely. Of course, Nepal is
known as the country of Mt. Everest and
every one may have such desire that have
heard or read about this highest
mountain in this world. This trek
provides to feel the warm hospitality of
Sherpa people and closeness of Mt.
Everest. This trek passes through the
several Sherpa villages so one can
experience Sherpa culture, visit
monasteries and enjoy the mountain views
of snow capped peaks Mt. Everest, Lhotse,
Amadablam and other great Himalayan
Peaks.

Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Day 01 : Your arrival to Tribhuwan International
Airport (TIA), you will be met by Mission Eco Trek’s Airport
Representative, and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu
valley (Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Temple Swayambhu, and
Kathmandu durbar square). Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Early in the morning, at 05.30, drive to
Tribhuwan International Airport (Domestic terminal) . After
35 minutes scenic flight to Lukla (2800m.), we start our
trek to Phakding (2610 m) – 3.30 hours easy walking mostly
on Nepali flat trail. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3445 m.). Overnight
at Hotel
Day 05 : Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar
This is a day for acclimatization. We have a fine walk
around the valley to adjust with thin air. Namche Bazaar is
the gateway of the Everest. We will take you to the museum
where you can see unique flora and fauna, collections of old
utensils used by sherpa. Also you can see panoramic view of
Everest, AmaDablam and many more.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Trek to Tengboche (3860m).
As we reach at Tengboche, we visit Tengboche monastery. Then
we take you to observe the prayer ceremony in the monastery.
Over night at hotel.
Day 07 : Trek to Dingboche (4350 m.). Overnight at
Hotel.
Day 08 : Day trip to Chhukung valley and trek back to
Dingboche.
Today you can enjoy another day for acclimatization. This
day we have trip to Chhukung valley, then we return to
Dingboche in the evening. We will take you to Chhukung Ri
(5546m) too. From there, we can observe a fifth highest
mountain Makalu. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Trek to Lobuche (4955 m.). Overnight at
Hotel
Day 10 : Trek to Ghorakshep (5165 m.). Overnight at
Guest House.
Day 11 : Trek to Everest Base camp (5364 m.) and
return to Ghorakshep. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 12 : Hiking to Kalapathar (5550m.)
We hike up to Kalapathar (5550 m.), an excellent viewpoint
to observe the Mount. Everest and innumerable spectacular
mountains views. Then trek back to Pheriche (4270m).
Overnight at Guest House.
Day 13 : Trek back to Khumjung Village (3780 m.).
Overnight at Guest House.
Day 14 : Trek down to Phakding (2610 m.). Overnight
at Hotel.
Day 15 : Trek down to Lukla. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 16 : Morning fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 17 : Free day in Kathmandu (it's also spare day
incase of bad weather in Lukla). Overnight at hotel.
Day 18 : Drive to Airport for your home departure.
