Ladakh lies at altitudes ranging from about 9,000 feet (2750m) at Kargil to 25,170 feet (7,672m) at Saser Kangri in the Karakoram. Thus summer temperatures rarely exceed about 27 degree celcius in the shade, while in winter they may plummet to minus 20 degree celcius even in Leh.

Drive to Manali. Walk along the riverbank to Vashist. Overnight hotel.

Day 04 :
A sensational trip over high mountain passes. Two nights in Jispa (3100m).

Day 05 :
Drive to Sarchu (4100m). Overnight in a fixed tented camp.

Day 06 :
Drive Sarchu-Taglang La (5328m)-Leh. Overnight hotel.

Day 07 :
Walk trek Likir-Stok La.

Day 08 :
Drive Leh-Khardung La (5602m)-Tegar-Panamik-Diskit. Overnight hotel.

Day 09 :
Sightseeing Shey, Thiksey and Hemis. Overnight hotel.

Day 10 :
Flight Leh-Delhi. Transfer to hotel.
