Namaste to you all at Mission Eco
Trek.
We had a fantastic time trekking from
Lukla to Namche although we got stuck at
Lukla for a day due to, as you know, the
cancellation of the other flight. It was
an adventurous experience for us and
hoping to trek again in future.
Your friendly service was much
appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed
Nabin’s service and company. I would
like to thank you for delivering such a
good service towards us and hopefully we
would be able to help your company
prosper in future.
It was good to hear from you all.
Regards,
Sharada & Dineeta

Dear Jit,
First of all my warmest thanks to you
and your team for the outstanding
service given to our three March/April
Himalayan groups. Everyone has returned
to South Africa with memories that will
last a lifetime. Many have commented on
how warm and friendly the Nepalese
people are, how welcome they were made
to feel, and what a beautiful country
you have! Some found the treks more
difficult than expected, but were
grateful to the guides and helpers for
their patience and encouragement.
Kind Regards
Rose and Paul Cooke
Dear Ram,
Wow! What a trip we had! Although the
trekking was really really hard, it was
so amazing that I would not have wanted
to miss it for the entire world. Thank
you soooooooo much Ram for all your hard
work in planning and then executing such
a special trip. It must be one of the
BEST I have ever done...
Your friend
Mark.
We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect and
every moment of our time spent in Nepal.
With Annapurna fresh in our memories we
are tempted to say that this trek was
even more exciting than the Everest
trail. Of course, our previous visit was
an unbelievable experience, which caused
us to fall in love with the beautiful
country. But it was also perhaps because
we knew how much more Nepal has to offer
that drew us into going again, and we
appreciate how much more informative
this trek was compared to before.
As has been said repeatedly, and has
been emphasized while looking at the
photographs – the variety of terrain,
scenery, and temperature was very
special. Trekking through the many
villages also added so much warmth to
the experience.
With regards to Mission Eco Trek, we can
do nothing but rave about their
wonderful support team, and how
unforgettable their joyful personalities
make each and every trek. Please extend
our deepest thanks to Ram as well. We
won’t hesitate to go to Nepal every
year.
Kind regards
Thomas Sneed.
Dear Mission Eco Trek,
I would like to take this opportunity to
say thank you to all at Mission Eco
Trek.
First, thank you for organizing a great
itinerary on short notice, and for being
flexible in the planning of my trip.
When my original travel plans were
cancelled on me (through no fault of my
own) by another company, your company
made sure I was taken care of and
handled all arrangements professionally
and efficiently. I was very pleased with
the punctuality of your team and the
courtesy that I was shown while in
Nepal, as well as through email
correspondence.
Secondly, I would like to thank Ram for
organizing all of the transportation, as
well as a city tour with Jit. The city
tour was fantastic, and Ram was there to
personally greet me on my arrival into
Kathmandu, all transfers to and from the
airport, and also before the city tour.
This personal treatment is very much
appreciated, and gives a weary traveler
much needed peace of mind.
Lastly, and most importantly, I owe a
great deal of thanks to Nabin, my guide.
Nabin saw to all arrangements while on
the trek, which means he performed
multiple roles: guide, historian, travel
agent, waiter, physician, friend, and
more. On most days Nabin carried my
pack, leaving nothing for me to do
except enjoy the scenery. Nabin is
filled with great information about the
trail, the people, the mountains, the
cultures, and he always secured the best
lodges and the best rooms. He also
allowed me to proceed at my own pace and
kept a constant watch over my health,
which is invaluable at high altitude.
Even after the trek, Nabin accompanied
me into Thamel to help me negotiate
prices on souvenirs, when his
obligations toward his duties had
already been completed. This personal
attention is what I appreciate most from
Mission Eco Trek and from Nabin. Much
thanks also goes out to my porter, Depak,
who still amazes me at the amount of
stuff he carries while I struggle taking
a few steps!
Best Regards,

Dear Ram Chandra, Jitendra , Ram
Kumar and Thakur,
In the following my father, my brother
and I would like to give you some
feedback about our trip.
Firstly, we would like to thank our
trekking guide Gambu Sherpa. He was
always very friendly, helpful and
caring. Thank you very much Gombu! He
adapted perfectly to our speed and we
never were in a hurry, in fact we had a
lot of time to take a lot of photos
(something that is very important to
us). If there was a day we didn’t feel
so well, he even carried our backpacks.
We think that’s a very special service!
Besides showing us the mountains, Gambu
also told us a lot about Nepal’s culture
and people. He knows a lot about
history, the different customs and
religions and it was always very
interesting to listen to him. Gambu also
told us about his family, so like that
we got a good impression about how a
normal Nepali family lives and what life
is like in Nepal. That was very
interesting to us because information
like that is hard to find in a guided
book.
The tea houses were always good. If
there was a lower and a higher class tea
house Gambu would always pick the higher
class one.
After spending 17 days with Gambu, he
was not only our guide anymore, actually
he has become our friend and we are sure
that we’ll keep in touch with him.
We also want to thank our porters Kumar
and Sitaram. They were always very
friendly and helpful and they never
complained about carrying our (too)
heavy bags, in fact they were always
smiling. Thanks a lot for that!
Secondly, the white water rafting was a
new and good experience to us. The water
of the Trishuli River was a refreshing
contrast to the mountains.
Altogether, we are very happy that we
chose Mission Eco Trek. Everything was
perfectly organized, we never felt
worried or left alone.
The hotel that you had picked for us
(Hotel Yak & Yeti) was a great choice.
It’s a very nice hotel and its location
downtown Kathmandu is just perfect for
going sightseeing or shopping. The
guided sightseeing tour through
Kathmandu the first day was very
interesting, too. Thanks a lot to our
guide Basant who was very friendly and
full of knowledge!
Last but not least, we would like to
thank you, all the great team of Mission
Eco Trek, for managing the big problems
we had with our international flights.
Even though Mission Eco had nothing to
do with our international flights
because we had booked them through a
travel agency from our home town, you
helped us to fix this problem caused by
our travel agency. Without you we would
have been completely lost and probably
we would still be in Kathmandu, waiting
and hoping for a flight back home. That
shows that Mission Eco Trek really cares
about its clients and that its standard
of service is very high. In the past we
had used some travel companies from our
home town for organizing trekking trips
all around the world. Mission Eco trek’s
standard of service is at least equal to
them, or even higher. That’s why we can
completely recommend Mission Eco Trek
for holidays in Nepal, no matter if it’s
trekking, sightseeing or going to the
jungle.
Thanks again to the entire Mission Eco
Trek team! You made our stay in Nepal a
wonderful and unforgettable experience.
We are looking very forward to seeing
you again, maybe soon on another trip,
of course organized by Mission Eco Trek.
Best wishes,
David Jeremy and Nicholas Mccurrie.
